Explanations for the following examples which are found in the folder "examples".

Example 01a:

No specific input was made in the worksheet "ratio". The programme, therefore assumes that the marker residue represents 100% of the total residue of concern at all time points. Intake estimates are calculated over the whole time period for which data of the marker residue exist.

Example 01b:

The input in worksheet "ratio" consists of one single time point. Therefore, it is assumed that the corresponding ratio of marker to total residue was valid onlz for this time point. Intake estimates are calculated only for that time point.

Example 01c:

Assumption is that a constant ratio is valid over a certain time period. Intake estimates are calculated for the given time period and the constant ratio.

Example 02:

Two different time points with different ratios are given. Consequently, the programme uses linear interpolation.

Example 03:

Three time points are given. The programme uses the three time points to calculate parameters for linear interpolation.

Example 04:

Data of a full total residue study are available (see worksheet "rawt") and those are used for the calculation of the ratio at every given time point.
